Just Grillin' Hat

This hat is the perfect tension swatch for our Elegy to Morfa jumper pattern. It is big enough that you can make an accurate measurement of both stitch and row tension over the pattern and have something more interesting than a square to show for it.

Just Grillin' is a fitted beanie style available in three sizes: S (older child/teen) M (small adult) L (large adult).

Our Morfa jumper is knitted in West Yorkshire Spinners for the main colour and a hand-dyed yarn for the contrast.  The hat uses King Cole Orchard DK with King Cole Homespun Prism. The King Cole version has slightly different tension as the Homespun is relatively thin for a DK yarn so if using a different yarn, the number of rounds before the crown decreases may need to be amended.

The pattern is knitted in the round, from the brim up and is is charted.
