Lots of our customers can make socks from the top down but this is how to make them from the toe up which means -- no Kitchener stitch!  Knitters will make a mini-sock, learning all of the techniques needed to transfer to full size socks.  This day is not for beginners but competent novices would be fine if able to knit reasonably quickly.

Techniques learned are:
knitting in the round on double-pointed needles
casting on for the toes
shaping the heel and instep
